I'm Back!! I've been computer-less for a while now and been unable to post. So since it has been some time I decided to go through some current selfies and post about them. Over the time I have been gone to a wedding, a friends birthday party, and a whole lot of work.

My Closet: Kiss Me I'm Texan
In Honor of Valentine's Day I thought I would give a little Texan love with a comfy going out outfit.
If you're from Texas and do not know about Southward Apparel, get to know it now! The southern duo designers showcase a collection of comfy tops with adorable sayings. You will love their tops even more because you can dress them up and down. I paired my "Kiss Me I'm Texan" sweater with a metallic skirt and booties. To add some color into the mix I popped my turquoise, Kendra Scott go-to jewelry.

Rain, Rain Go Away!
Rain, rain go away!
Don't let the bad weather bring your style down, enjoy it! Bust out that awesome coat you don't get to wear often, or a "rain hat", like me. Even though it can be gloomy outside it's always fun to add a pop of color to accessories. You also may want to keep in mind that if it's raining out to wear a different color undershirt, just in case. This outfit is ideal for a day of shopping and a night out with friends.

My Closet: Little Black Dress
What is the one staple piece every woman has in her closet? The little black dress! It comes in all styles and if you don't have one you should invest in one that fits your body ASAP. The main reason you should have one, is purely for the fact that it has so much versatility in you wardrobe. Adding on simple layering pieces like a blazer, statement jewelry or fun accessories can change the style of any little black dress. I think fashion should always be fun, so I added a fun scarf, and bright pumps to amplify my little black dress.

Inspiration: Happy New Years!
With New Years Eve just a couple of days away I can't help but be inspired by gold, glitter, dressing up, and champagne. Isn't that the best part of new years to dress up and celebrate the old by bringing in the new things yet to come. If you are not sure what to wear for the night out you can't go wrong with anything sequins or gold. This is the one time of year you definitely should stand out in a crowd. Having a party at your place, stop by your local party store and get party hats, gold confetti. and rock candy to dip into your champagne. In my eyes the best way to start the new years is with anything gold, sparkly, and champagne you seriously can't go wrong.
Here are my top 8 picks to get your New Years started with a bang!
1. Get a standout dress, something that makes you twirl with joy
Check out Revolve Clothing where I found this fun playful dress where prices range from $80-$300
2. Not into dresses go for a sparkling top and pair it with some leather leggings to spice up the night
This Romwe top is dressy but has a relaxed fit.
3. It's all about the little things, why not dress up your number one sidekick (your cell phone)
This Kate Spade case fits the new years eve mood perfectly and for only $40
4. Grab the perfect clutch that fits your essentials lip gloss, eye liner, keys, and your cell phone
Go for new shapes in clutches like this hexagonal clutch at Nordstrom's
5. It's still a little chilly out there so go for a glitzy jacket to spark up your outfit
Loft has this perfect tuxedo blazer that will work perfectly for your night out
6. If you can't find the right dress why not go for a cute sequin mini skirt and pair it with a simple top
Draw your attention to your legs with this sparkling gold mini only $44 at Nordstrom's
7. Stuck with just a little black dress, grab a statement necklace to give that dress some life!
Talk about a statement necklace you need this Kendra Scott Denise necklace in your life, available at Zappos or Kendra Scott Stores.
8. Don't ever under estimate the power of the shoes, go for a sexy pump to complete your outfit
It's the new years so why not splurge a little and go for a pair that will last you all year
get you some Jimmy Choo's, and choo won't regret it!
